- Shipping & Delivery
- Orders for stock items received before 3pm weekdays are normally despatched same day. Our standard despatch for UK mainland deliveries is via insured Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Higher value items, plus items required for express delivery, are despatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Overseas deliveries are despatched via FedEx International Priority where this service is available. Individual orders over £300 in value are despatched free via Royal Mail Special Delivery or Fedex International Priority. All deliveries will require a signature from the recipient.
- Privacy & Security
- Macrow & Son, as a course of the operation of this site, does collect personal data on our customers. This is limited to order and address information plus statistical data which is used in the improvement of the site. This data is held on a secure server protected by industry-standard security. Completion of online forms during the order process or subscibing to any of our services is considered assent to our capture and holding of your personal data entered in these forms. We do not hold any financial data on any of our customers - all credit card payments are processed by SagePay through the NatWest Streamline service on secure servers. Macrow & Son respect your privacy and will not make any of the information we hold available to a third party. We cannot, however, be responsible for any information transmitted to us through unsecure means such as email or the postal service.
- Returns & Replacements
- We will exchange goods, despatch replacements or refund your payment provided we are notified about the return/replacement within seven days of the receipt of your order and the original goods are returned to us as sold within 30 days of receipt. For hygeine reasons we cannot accept returns of earrings. Please note we cannot offer replacements for returned unique or one-off items. Please also note our conditions in "Reselling On Auction Sites" below. Registered customers should use the Returns Section in their Customer Account. Please contact us on +44 (0)1929 426685 or via e-mail at swanage@macrow.com for further information or to inform us of your intention to return goods for replacement or refund. Returns should be sent to us via Recorded or Registered post (please retain your proof of postage) - we cannot accept responsibility for returned goods until they have been received by us. Refunds are credited to the account from which the original payment was received.
- Viewing Orders
- Registered customers can view their order history and order status by logging-in to their account.
- Payment & Pricing
- We accept all major credit cards, PayPal and payments through Google Checkout. Credit card transactions are processed by SagePay (formerly Protx) - this service may not be available in certain countries or for certain card-issuing banks. Prices and Payment are in GBP/UK Pounds Sterling.
- Photography
- All the images on this site are copyright and not available for commercial use without the express written permission of the copyright holder.
- Natural Product
- Many of the stock items on this site are crafted from natural product - consequently there may be some variation between the site photograph and the actual received product. Wherever possible we do photograph individual items.
- Reselling On Auction Sites
- We have noticed that some of the product purchased from this site has been appearing on various online auction sites. Purchase from us with the intention of re-selling on auction sites (or indeed any other commercial site) is considered a commercial transaction and thus does not fall within the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations. We are not required to, and indeed will not, accept returns for refunds on any goods that have been offered for sale on commercial websites and auction sites.
